Bonnie Babes Calls For More Gorgeous Babies "Pride Of The Nation" fundraising book The Bonnie Babes Foundation, a non-profit volunteer based charity established for the health and well being of families is once again calling for gorgeous babies to fill the pages of its beautiful coffee table book, The Pride of the Nation. Sadly one in every four pregnancies ends in a loss from miscarriage and stillbirth. One in ten babies is born prematurely. The Bonnie Babes Foundation helps to save babies lives and counsel families through this extreme hardship. All proceeds the Foundation raises are for vital medical research projects and for 24/7 family counselling services. The Foundation supports families with seriously ill babies and infants with childhood illnesses. One of Bonnie Babes Foundation's fundraising efforts is The Pride of the Nation, an annual coffee table book which celebrates new life and provides a snap shot of the next generation. It showcases the wonderful diversity of our Australian population, while also highlighting the natural beauty of every child as an individual. Pride of the Nation is a unique way to celebrate the gift of children while supporting the essential services of this charity. The Pride of the Nation is made possible by participating photographers, all volunteers, who waive their normal sitting fee to help the Bonnie Babes Foundation. Instead the $50 paid for the first child or $75 for all children from the same family goes directly to the Bonnie Babes Foundation upon registration. All of the children photographed are included in the annual Pride of the Nation book available for purchase. The book is also displayed at Parliament House. For information about participation, contact Claire Holden on clareh@bbf.org.au. On the subject of pregnancy loss and support for families who go through the heartache of losing a baby through miscarriage or stillbirth, journalist Zoe Taylor, a former CareforKids.com.au Mum in Profile has just launched her book Pregnancy Loss: Surviving Miscarriage and Stillbirth through Harper Collins and available at most leading bookstores, RRP$27.99. A percentage of the funds goes to Stillbirth Foundation Australia |
