As part of our ongoing evolution and commitment to you, we've redesigned our website with the aim to provide the easiest and most efficient way for you to access all the child care services you need to make your life just that little bit less complicated and give you more time to spend with your children.
Over 3.5 million parents visit CareforKids.com.au® each year in order to find child care, so we've listened to what you want and need.
Finding child care is even easier
The new home page designed to make it even easier for parents to search for care.
Simply filter by type of care, age of child, days required and in one click we'll show all the relevant services with vacancies or all services in your selected area.
Or you can click on the "locate me" button on the main toolbar from a mobile device and all the services near you will appear like magic. The map shows everything from the number of services, types of service available, parent ratings and reviews and the average cost of care in your area.
One-stop waitlisting
We know what you think about having to fill in lots of different waiting lists and we hear you and totally understand! So a big part of our new service is the smooth and seamless way we can help you with the dreaded "waitlisting" process!
Rather than having to fill in multiple waiting lists for centres and other services you have shortlisted for your child, you only need to do this once. Simply complete the form ONCE and at the click of a button you can waitlist with other preferred providers.
All your waitlist information is stored on your personal dashboard and allows you to reference who you have waitlisted with, request a tour and contact the services for updates.
PLUS you can update the waitlist at any time to include other days required, another child etc.
Child care compass to point you in the right direction
If you're a newbie to the world of child care and don't really know what your options are or the difference between types of care and what might be best for you and your child, then our new Child Care Compass will point you in the right direction.
The Compass is a new interactive quiz that will help you understand what type of care is right for your family. Simply answer a few key questions about what you're looking for as a family and our compass will tell you the most appropriate types of care for you.
Easy for all devices
The new website is designed to be fully responsive for all your devices, so you can access it at work, on the train, wherever you are and whenever you need us.
To make it even easier you can also login via your social media accounts, such as Facebook or Google+.
News and advice at your fingertips
CareforKids.com.au includes a wealth of parenting and child care advice in the form of our weekly newsletters and child care articles.
Simply click on the general topic or search something specific and everything we know (and we know a lot!) is available to you!
