The role of early childhood providers in preventing family violence

In July this year the Domestic Violence Resource Centre Victoria (DVRCV) and the Community Child Care (CCC) Association hosted the inaugural Responding to and preventing family violence - The role of early childhood professionals conference.
The purpose of this meeting was to provide a forum for early childhood carers and educators to meet with professionals working in the area of domestic violence to explore the role early childhood services could have in preventing and responding to domestic violence.

Expanding understanding of the NQS |

If you are keen to further your understanding about ACECQA's quality ratings under the National Quality Standard, then you'd be wise to set aside some time to check out the two occasional papers ACECQA has published on Quality Areas 1 and 2.
ACECQA says the purpose of the occasional series papers is to provide insight into the NQS quality ratings for eduation and care services in Australia.
