It's official: The quality of Australian child care has improved every year
|

The Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) has released its 25th National Quality Framework (NQF) Snapshot Report and there's good news - there has been a sustained improvement in the quality of approved education and care services across the nation.
The majority of approved services have achieved a 'Meeting National Quality Standard (NQS) or above' rating, so let's look at the rating system and see how quality is rising in the child care sector.

What you need to know about measles

Measles has been in the news recently, and with good cause. There has been a 30 per cent increase in measles cases globally – with places like Madagascar, the Philippines, the Ukraine, Venezuela, Brazil, Italy, France and Japan facing serious outbreaks.
Closer to home, New Zealand has seen a large spike in measles cases, and although Australia was declared 'measles-free' in 2014, we've seen a rise in measles cases too as locals and tourists arrive from overseas.
