Care for Kids announces exciting product updates

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news with you about your Care for Kids experience!
Our team has been working hard, and we can finally announce that we’ve rolled out new and improved updates to our listing pages. These updates have been designed with you, our valued customers in mind, aiming to enhance the experience for parents and services using the Care for Kids platform.
We believe in constantly evolving to meet the needs of our customers – every service actively using the Care for Kids platform as a part of its marketing strategy as well as the same parents and children that fill services across Australia.
These updates represent a significant step forward in ensuring that every centre listing page shines!

We spoke to parents to understand what was important to them when searching and comparing for the right care for their children and they were clear in their responses.
The top things parents care about when searching for childcare are:
- Real images
- Ratings and reviews
- Prominent and correct pricing
- Accurate availability
- Informative, rich content
A picture is worth a thousand words!
On a scale of one to ten, 56 per cent of parents said they found images extremely important which is why we have reimagined the layout of our listing pages, allowing parents the ability to browse images first!
Because images have been proven to be top of mind for parents, they should highlight the fun, love, and laughter that you share in your service daily. This will help parents to emotionally invest in your service and see the love and care that your educators put in to helping every child in your service to trive.
Rank the rating!
We know parents come to Care for Kids to find the right care for their families and a big part of your service is how hard you work to ensure your National Quality Standard (NQS) rating is ranked. Because the NQS rating is such a valuable tool for parents, helping them to make informed decisions about the childcare service that best meets their child's needs, we’ve brought it to the top of the listing. You can now find it in the improved centre overview, so parents can see for themselves the work that goes into each service and they can understand the high-quality care, education, safety, and well-being yours service provides.
Reviews remain
Reviews play a significant role in determining the appropriateness of a childcare service. In fact, we found that reviews and ratings were the most interacted element on the page and parents across Australia expressed a desire to read reviews with different ratings, including 1-star ratings with business responses, so they can be better informed when they go on a childcare tour.
We know that reviews can be challening so, we’ve put together a review response document in our Knowledge Hub to help with those tricky-to-navigate Google Reviews, ensuring your service is always on the front foot.
Focusing on features
Because your service is different from the others in your area, we think it’s important to focus on the features that set you apart from the others. A new and improved expandable service feature section will allow you to put your most distinctive features first, giving parents a fabulous first impression before clicking to read more.
Premium service features
Make your listing stand out to the right parents in your suburb and surrounds. Subscribed services will now feature across the site, with increased visibility across the Care for Kids platform. Care for Kids will feature recommended and nearby services making your service the centre of attention!
Compare, Call, Enquire.
Every parent comes to Care for Kids for information, comparing, calling, and enquiring to services that set themselves apart from the others. We know that parents are busy and a phone number at their fingertips makes sense. With increased listing phone call opportunities and chances to enquire, a busy parent’s life is made simpler with Care for Kids.
It’s all about the tour
Sure, a listing page can set a service apart to get feet through the doors to meet your team, so, we have made it easier than ever to show your service to parents with a book-a-tour button. And because it can be done right here, on-site with us, we’re again making life that much easier for parents across Australia.
