SDN Milperra, located within the grounds of Milperra Public School, provides early childhood education and child care for 60 children from birth to school age.
When your child joins SDN Milperra, they will be taking part in an educational play-based, program which is built on their interests. From super-heroes to dinosaurs, we believe that children learn best when the topic interests them. You can learn more about our educational program here.
Our educators are known for being warm and friendly, and they are easy to talk to. They always listen to what families have to say and they respect each family’s individual beliefs.
Our central dining room provides an open space for children to enjoy nutritious meals cooked onsite. The open set up encourages interaction between our cook and our children, and older children are encouraged to help with serving meals.
What our families say...
“What I like best is the healthy food!”
“The staff are friendly and have been very patient with my son.”
“I love the fact that the rooms are small with a homely feeling.”
Preschool Fee Relief
The NSW Government is providing up to $2110 in fee relief for preschool aged children who are enrolled in the preschool program at SDN Children’s Services from 2023. If your child will be 4 on or before 31 July 2023, this additional funding could mean up to $40 a week in fee relief to your family, on top of the existing child care subsidy.
About SDN Children's Services
We are a not-for-profit organisation that has been providing quality early childhood education, care, children's therapies and family support since 1905.
Our purpose is to promote and enhance children’s wellbeing, learning and development in inclusive environments; and our vision is for an equitable world where all children thrive.
At SDN, your child is supported by our village.
The SDN village is a caring, inclusive, and supportive community, where your child is the centre of everything we do. We give them the freedom to invent, create, explore, and express their true selves, every day. A place where they can use their voices. And when they do, we listen.
We see the whole child and know that children thrive when we support them to grow caring hearts, healthy bodies, and curious minds.
