4-5 transition to school
Our Transition to School Program is designed to develop learning dispositions, providing a fluid transition into Early Stage One of the Australian School Curriculum. Increased social and emotional confidence supports healthy risk taking, making predictions and ongoing resilience.
Health and Nutrition
Health and Nutrition
At Young Academics, we believe the first five years of a child’s life are critical for establishing healthy eating habits, exploring new foods, and meeting essential nutritional needs to support growth and development. Good nutrition not only enhances physical health but also boosts a child’s well-being, self-confidence, and focus.
That’s why we’ve developed our unique Nutrition Program in collaboration with a qualified nutritionist. This program is designed to help children understand the importance of healthy eating, hygiene, and physical activity. We encourage children to actively participate in meal preparation and serving, fostering a hands-on approach to learning about nutrition.
Our carefully crafted seasonal menu, which rotates every four weeks, is designed to meet 50% of your child’s daily nutritional requirements. It includes a variety of nourishing foods such as vegetables, fruits, lean meats, fish, chicken, dairy products, and more, ensuring children receive a balanced diet that supports their growth and development.
Kindergarten/Preschool Programs

At Young Academics, our Transition to School Program is a comprehensive, carefully designed pathway that prepares children for the exciting journey into formal education. We understand that this is a major milestone, and our program focuses on equipping children with the academic, social, and emotional skills they need for a smooth transition.
Our dedicated educators work closely with each child, providing tailored support to ensure they feel confident and emotionally ready for the next step in their learning journey. We focus on building essential skills such as problem-solving, communication, and teamwork, while also fostering independence, resilience, and a love for learning.
Through a combination of structured learning, interactive play, and hands-on experiences, we help children develop both academically and socially, so they feel prepared not just for the classroom, but for the social dynamics of school life as well.
At Young Academics, we take pride in setting children up for a seamless and positive transition into school, laying the foundation for both academic success and personal growth that will last a lifetime.

On his first day, he was left in the nappy I dropped him off in right up until he was picked up. My child is a picky eater and he was at daycare the whole day without food until they used their common sense and gave him toast . I felt like he was being targeted from the amount of incident reports due to his speech delay which caused behavioural issues but my child’s behavioural issues could have improved if they invested him helping with his speech. Did nothing to help improve, just felt like it was more like a baby sitting centre. My child had only attended for one month and after his first day I got anxiety leaving him there but at the same time I had no choice but too as that was the only centre I could find an available spot for my child with the amount of days a week that I needed him there. I will never return to Young Academics again and would never recommend no one not even family or friends to this centre. Read more

Excellent facilities. Genuine care for your kids. What's more, the centre actually listens to feedback and works to implement suggestions from parents. My son is always so happy to attend and see his educators, which shows the quality of the relationships formed at the centre. Definitely would recommend. Read more
