Story House Eraly Learning Forest Hill delivers exceptional quality care and education for children aged six weeks to five years and includes a fully accredited kindergarten program. Our dedicated team of educators deliver play-based learning programs that foster a love of learning in a safe and welcoming environment. Our programs are designed to be emergent in nature and are guided by the children’s interests.

Our learning programs are further extended by our events calendar which includes a range of excursions, incursions, community events, and cultural celebrations throughout the year to facilitate an inclusive and holistic understanding of the wider world. Children’s learning and daily routines are documented and delivered via a safe and secure electronic platform to ensure families are informed and involved in their child’s day.  

Along with our purpose-built facilities that have been thoughtfully designed to create positive and enriched learning experiences, we provide healthy and nutritious meals every day and our talented cook can cater for any dietary requirement. Programs

To create a sense of familiarity and security for the children, the educators follow a predictable daily routine across the centre. This then allows the children to explore and enjoy their day while feeling safe in their surroundings. 

The educators make the most of the facilities to include a mix of both indoor and outdoor learning activities. They consider each child’s individual learning styles and needs to ensure that every child has the support and opportunities they need to thrive.

The children can participate in swimming lessons and cooking activities. They can also attend excursions and often welcome community visitors into the centre for incursions. Nature play is encouraged to teach the children about sustainability and caring for the environment.

The school readiness program supports the transition to big school, helping to prepare these children for life beyond Story House Early Learning.
