Their aim at the AMIGA Montessori Alamanda is provide a safe, secure, Montessori learning environment where children can develop to their full potential. The small close-knit team of dedicated, passionate Montessori teachers are mentored and supported by amazing Educational leaders. They are also extremely lucky in the fact that they have two Early Childhood Teachers, therefore are able to offer out of three classrooms that two are Funded Kindergarten program classrooms that are integrated into the Montessori curriculum.

AMIGA Montessori in Alamanda is certainly the best! All the staff are friendly, responsive, helpful, attentive and great with kids and family. Both my girls have gone through kinder through them and have grown in confidence, learnt to make friends, try different foods and participate in activities with peers and individually. My eldest was able to transition to prep seamlessly after being with AMIGA Montessori and I believe my youngest will also be the same after the year of growth I've seen in her. Highly recommend this kinder/childcare setting! Read more

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
