What the parents say
What the parents say
Jigsaw Childcare was the safest place with good learning environment for my son (Labib). He stayed in the childcare about 2 years and went a long way with his learning experience. His ability to interact with the world and make friends and express himself improved a lot. Big thanks to the educators Rose, Lieu, Tina and Ngoc for their hard work and professional care. We will always remember you.

I was so nervous sending my son to daycare. It’s such a stressful decision trusting someone with your child’s safety and happiness. Jigsaw made that transition such a positive one. I have been thrilled with the care and attention they have given my son. From Renee and Victoria at the front to the room educators Lisa and Shirley everyone has been wonderful. I couldn’t be happier with the decision to send our son to Jigsaw.

Programs
Programs
School readiness program: Prepares children for the transition to school by developing their competence and confidence in the areas of motor development, social skills, independence skills, language skills and the ability to challenge bias. The kindergarten works closely with the local schools to ensure the best program is provided for the children.
Incursions & excursions: Regular involvement within the community, including celebrations of diversity, sustainability, wellbeing, and the environment. Children are involved in events such as Harmony Week, Clean Up Australia Day, Hinamatsuri (Japan’s Girls Day), yoga, visits to the park and much more.
Art and music program: Music helps children develop intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and literacy skills. It helps the body and mind work together.
Sports program: Allows young children to develop gross motor skills like running, jumping, throwing and climbing. For older children the sports program introduces them to the concepts of hand-eye coordination, teamwork and sportsmanship. Children participating in sports make lasting friendships, develop communication skills faster, feel a sense of community and learn respect for their playmates.
STEAM program: The STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) program nurtures curiosity, intelligence, motor, numeracy and literacy skills. It incorporates materials, toys and equipment that children like to play with, to help them grow big ideas and understand fundamental concepts.
About the curriculum
About the curriculum
Jigsaw Childcare and Kindergarten follows the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which understands that children learn and explore through play. Their understanding of the world develops through communication, discovery, imagination, and creation. The EYLF aims to develop in your child a strong sense of identity, connection and contribution to their world, a strong sense of wellbeing, confidence and involvement in learning, and effective communication skills. As well as instill Being, Belonging and Becoming across all age groups.

Our 1 year old has had the best time there. All of the educators are friendly, attentive and professional. Me and my wife always felt confident that our little one is in good hands every time we dropped her off every morning. We are very sad that we have to change childcare centre as we have moved houses.
