Jigsaw Early Learning Centre

Children develop and learn at their own pace and the educators at Jigsaw Childcare and Kindergarten ensure expectations for children’s development are specific to each child, their unique experiences and individual backgrounds. The educators will support the children’s development by giving them the opportunity to choose their own experiences.

The qualified educators play an important role in shaping children’s identities, giving them the skills to face life’s challenges. 

The Jigsaw Childcare and Kindergarten team ensures that a positive learning environment is created and help support the children to extend their learning by encouraging children to wonder, explore, test, predict, problem solve, negotiate, reflect, and research through play.

As Director of this wonderful Centre since it opened in June 2008, I feel it is like a home away from home. I feel as though I belong here as I love working with children. I love their spontaneity, love of life, watching them grow and achieve their milestones. 

I believe that all children have the right to feel safe, cared for and treated as individuals. As Educators we need to really know what makes the children in our care happy, comfortable and interested in their learning. I believe that Educators and families are in partnership together caring for these precious children. 

Sharing individual information together is so important for both families and children to feel safe in this child-centred environment. I am privileged to be leading a team of professionals who are dedicated to instilling a sense of belonging and self-value into children as well as preparing them for lifelong learning. Jigsaw Childcare was the safest place with good learning environment for my son (Labib). He stayed in the childcare about 2 years and went a long way with his learning experience.
