If you are a busy or working parent, don't send your child/children to Montessori Academy Carlingford. The educators expect parents to do the basic work and "teach" their children at home. The educators there are not fully qualified. They let the children do their things, as they failed to encourage the children to join the group or individual learning. They start learning late, the centre doesn't use Doctor Maria Montessori's concept like other Montessori centres. Children sometimes can't practice writing because they are waiting for the "Montessori writing book" to arrive, which could take months. Staff at Carlingford clock in and clock out on time, there is high staff turnover, and staff and Center Managers are sometimes busy with their children at the centre. My child was at preschool for over two years and left without knowing how to write the Alphabet, understand the upper and lower case, numbers 1 to 10, and even learn how to write the name before starting school.
