About the curriculum
About the curriculum
The curriculum at Love of Learning Early Learning Centre focuses on developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that lay the foundational skills the children need. With a focus on the whole child, the educators support the children with the various transitions they experience as they progress through the different stages of learning.
There are multiple rooms at the centre, each catering to a different age and stage of development.
- Babies (12 - 24 months): The educators adhere to each child’s individual routine and help them to develop important self-help, communication and motor skills.
- Caterpillars (2 - 3 years): The toddlers in the two caterpillar rooms are nurtured to develop their independence and social skills through interest-based learning experiences.
- Butterflies (3 - 6 years): The preschool program helps to prepare the children for their transition to big school by equipping them with the skills they will need to succeed.

As a first-time mother, finding the ideal daycare center for my sons was a journey filled with anxiety and uncertainty. However, all my worries dissipated the moment I stepped into Love of Learning (LoL). My oldest son began his journey here two years ago, and the experience has been nothing short of transformative. From the very first encounter, Tina and her exceptional team exuded a warmth and sincerity that resonated deeply with me. It was evident that LoL wasn't just another daycare facility; it was a nurturing extension of home. The environment they've created is one of the most welcoming and caring I've ever encountered in childcare. The impact on my son Alessio has been remarkable. His progress in verbal, social, and emotional skills has not just improved; it has soared. This phenomenal development is a testament to the educators' patience, understanding, and genuine investment in his growth. Their approach goes beyond mere teaching; they truly care about each child's individual journey. I am immensely grateful to Tina and the entire team at Love of Learning. They have not only provided my sons with an exceptional foundation for learning but have also given me invaluable peace of mind as a parent. Thank you for being our extended family and for all that you do Read more

My son attended LOL for one and half years, and although we are no longer at the centre, we will always have fond memories. The humble Scout hall is certainly a hidden gem! We will always remember the friendly, attentive, and passionate educators who helped our little boy in all areas of development. Tina, the head of LOL, always tries to go above and beyond , and is approachable and helpful without fail. We also miss Yiayia, her yummy food, and little chats with her every morning. This small community is one that we felt connected to in a short space of time. Thank you Tina and the team for all your hard work and dedication. Read more
