Our location is not only a great place to play but its character inspires the creativity of our children’s imaginations and facilitates a learning environment where children can thrive.
At Kew Kids Early Learning, our qualified and experienced educators lead both play based and structured learning programs which are tailored to the interests, needs and developments of each child. Our programs are diverse, using a range of natural and processed materials and resources which supports children in their sense of agency and becoming confident, lifelong learners.
Our kindergarten children take part in a weekly outdoor program to our local park, where they engage in a bush kinder program, sports program and an outdoor wellbeing program. About the curriculum
About the curriculum
The educators work closely with families to provide a safe, quality, family-centred learning environment where every child is respected and nurtured. The team continually develops their skills and explores new ways to enrich each child’s early learning experience.
Indoor and outdoor play based experiences are an integral part of the program. Educators plan a diverse range of experiences to create opportunities for each child in both structured and spontaneous play.
The centre’s programs are inspired by the wisdom and teachings of early childhood theorists and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and aim to develop children’s emotional, social and cognitive intelligence.
The Kindergarten curriculum continues to emphasise play based learning, however offers additional intentional learning times where the focus is on literacy and numeracy, socialisation, self-regulation and independence.
Health & nutrition
Health & nutrition
Kew Kids Early Learning understands that promoting children’s nutrition and health is an important aspect of providing a quality child care and early education service. It is crucial that children are offered healthy, nutritious meals throughout the day and enjoy social, positive mealtime experiences and discussions as part of their overall growth, development and knowledge.
The centre’s menu is prepared by Kids Gourmet Foods in consultation with families, educators, the children and recognised authorities such as Nutrition Australia. The centre can accommodate individual dietary requirements due to family preferences, cultural background, allergies or food intolerances, by working closely and in consultation with families to make sure individual children’s needs are met.
A positive attitude towards healthy eating is embedded into the curriculum and daily routines, for instance with their interactive cooking classes; menu development; discussion of food choices; explaining the role of food and culture; educators modeling healthy eating; and making meal times a pleasant, social occasion.

During this time she has been consistently very well looked after - the centre is well managed under the care of Emma and the staff are most caring and attentive. The food is plentiful and they offer a great variety with a chef on site. Our daughter enjoys her time at the centre - she is always engaged in stimulating and fun activities and is very fond of the staff. We have been most fortunate to have had the support of the centre and staff over the last few years - they have also been very accommodating of last minute changes for work with an extra casual day here and there which we have been most grateful for. We would recommend Kew Kids to any new families looking to start their childcare journey. Read more

I have two daughters enrolled at Kew Kids Early Learning, and I couldn't be happier with the care they receive. Every morning at drop-off, we see their happy smiles. My older daughter, in kindergarten, tells me she is happy at school every day. Similarly, my younger daughter, in the nursery, is so delighted that she doesn't want to leave at pick-up time! The center, housed in a converted church, is spacious and full of character. Each room boasts plenty of indoor and outdoor play areas, allowing the children to explore and learn in various settings. The covered outdoor area is a fantastic feature, ensuring that the children can enjoy outdoor time even on rainy days. Emma, the Service Manager, is very friendly, articulate in communication, and supportive. Thank you to the entire team at Kew Kids Early Learning for providing such a wonderful environment for our children to grow and thrive. Read more
