Welcome to Aurora Early Education Rowville

Catering to children from birth to 6 years, Aurora Rowville provides exceptional care and play-based learning in a warm and homely boutique environment. Qualified and committed teachers and educators provide one on one support, and deliver engaging, high-quality programs that foster self-esteem, self-expression, and a lifelong passion for learning.

The first build in the Aurora group, the light-filled centre features warm and comfortable spaces that are ideal for small group learning. Interiors include natural touches such as plants and baskets, whilst pops of colour help engage and inspire children. The exciting and holistic indoor program includes language, music, fine art and yoga.

Experiencing nature is core to the Aurora philosophy, and the exciting outdoor space features plants, trees and vegetable gardens so that children can experience and learn about the environment. Children are also encouraged to challenge themselves on balance and climbing equipment, building important motor, social and cognitive skills through play.

The centre is conveniently located, with public transport and parking at hand. Why not book a tour of this nature-focused and nurturing centre today?

Programs

Programs

The centre has a wide variety of age-specific programs for healthy holistic development.

Infants & Toddlers

Designed for the littlest ones in care, the Seamist Studio caters for babies and toddlers with special education and play curriculum designed to encourage their natural curiosity. The multi-age space helps children  learn from each other and interact meaningfully with love, empathy and understanding.

Pre-kinder

The  pre-kinder program is run in the Moonglade Studio with a strong focus on social, physical and emotional development. Educators encourage curiosity and eagerness to learn through creative activities including art, music and ‘hands on’ experiences, and help build skills in readiness for kindergarten.

Kinder

For kindergarten students, the Willow Walk studio room offers a rhythmic routine and allows for whole group discussions and explorations of concepts. Children can direct their own learning with engaging, interactive and  fun experiences that are set up around the room.

The school readiness program prepares children to transition seamlessly to primary  school and lays the foundation for a lifetime of positive learning experiences.

Happy Feet Fitness

Happy Feet Fitness educates children on the importance of keeping fit and healthy through exercise, healthy eating and fun activities. The program is run by qualified fitness teachers and focuses on healthy hygiene practices, healthy eating and physical activity.

Yoga Champs

Yoga gives children the opportunity to strengthen physically, mentally and emotionally in a natural, healthy and enjoyable way. It encourages self-esteem and body awareness and teaches children how to relax, focus and be calm. This in turn helps children to develop social/emotional intelligence, communication skills, trust and empathy.

Hey Dee Ho

Hey Dee Ho uses traditional children’s songs, current contemporary songs and dances and a selection of original Australian compositions. Developed in conjunction with the Australian Institute of Music and Childhood, the fun program aids emotional and intellectual development for infants, toddlers, Pre-Kinders and Kindergarten children.

LCF Mandarin

Children take Mandarin classes on Fridays where the language is delivered through fun activities and popular preschool games. The carefully structured program helps all age groups learn a second language quickly and naturally, which aids in the development of critical and creative thinking skills.

Pottery

Possum Potters is an optional class for 3-5 year olds. Clay is a wonderful medium for creativity, and the program fosters an appreciation of art, plus self-expression, creative flow and confidence.

Theatre and Community Studies

The Theatre and Community program teaches basic concepts of performance and the stage. The children connect with different community groups  to create a performance for a large audience. Through this rich learning experience, children engage with a diverse range of people and study big social topics such as equality and humanitarian rights.
