Benowa Childrens Centre's Centre overview
At Benowa Children’s Centre we recognize that families are looking for childcare that suits their own lifestyle, ethics and personal taste. We strive to provide a home away from home for families as well as opportunities for children to learn, develop and thrive.
Our centre has its own unique personality and look, giving families and children a strong sense of belonging. Our philosophy and ethics towards Early Education and childcare is very important to us.
We believe that children learn in an environment that is rich in exploration, welcoming and supportive, thus allowing their beautiful minds to be imaginative and creative.
Through a mix of structured and play-based learning experiences at our centre, children build their social, emotional and thinking skills in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment. And we’re dedicated to achieving developmental milestones in cognitive, physical, social and emotional growth in our children, 6 weeks to Prep. We provide onsight Junior Gym sessions and onsite swimming lessons at an additional price.
Our programs are delivered by qualified educators; skilled and experienced teachers who give each child individual care and guidance so they may reach their full potential as an independent little person. Because we believe in developing children on multiple levels we place a high value on our extra curricular programs such as music, art lessons, indigenous culture and our unique Bush Kindy Explorers. Benowa Children’s Centre is the home of this exciting pre-school nature based, educational program that introduces children to nature and our unique Australian environment.
At Benowa Children’s Centre children are encouraged to explore, discover, learn and most of all… enjoy their childhood.

Benowa Children's Centre has been our one and only 'Village' for over four years. Quite literally. They've been there for our kids and family in ways we never knew we'd need. We cannot fault the centre or the entire team, from the absolutely wonderful and life-saving administration team, the incredible carers from the baby rooms right up to pre-prep, and the genius Chef Dave. We can't find the words to describe our appreciation. We are so lucky that our babies grew up with BCC, and our family was part of their community. There are too many staff to name—but they've all given so much love and support to our kids and family, and we will always feel part of their community, even now that our youngest is starting prep. Thank you, BCC, for taking such good care of our babies and helping to shape them into the little legends we have the pleasure of being the parents of. Read more

My niece was taken to the gym class without her parental written consent and had a fall due to another child tripping over and pulling my niece forward. She sustained a serious oral injury that fractured two front teeth completely, requiring hospital admission and surgery to remove them permanently under general anaesthesia. My cousins could not even meet with these people in person; they cancelled the meeting and got their lawyer to tell them they were not legally liable and to contact the lawyer directly instead. It is repulsive as my cousins just wanted to have an honest and open conversation on what happened to their beloved daughter. They refused to show CCTV how the injury happened, and the incident report was not sent until the end of the day without parental acknowledgement signature. This story was published in Kidspot(parenting -> preschool) and Heraldsun(Lifestyle -> parenting) on the 5th of July 2023 or Google "I trusted daycare to keep my girl" if anyone is interested in more details.
