Both my kids have been with YMCA since they were 8 months old. Love their friendly and caring team, communication is timely and up to date (there are daily updates, routines and photos on Storypark, never a day it is missed). The best thing of all - the activities for the kids are very engaging (e.g mandarin classes, yoga, science experiments, number learning, cooking class etc). I would recommend this centre to anyone.

As I sit down to write this review, I am taken back to early last year when we were deciding on a childcare for my 3-yr old son. We had just come from overseas and there were multiple life changes that the kids were adjusting to - to find a childcare that would replicate the attention and care our child received at home seemed like a daunting task. We were very relieved when we met Siv, Jasmeet and team YMCA Point Cook - they were so welcoming, friendly and accomodating from the very start. They took the time to get to know my child, listen to our concerns and supported me in slowly introducing my child to the kinder environment as I wished to do. The initial days are always tough for both parents and child, and I can truly say the team went out of their way to make them easy for us. A few weeks on, my child was happy and settled-in, and we were content and relaxed. Over the last year, I have found the staff and management very approachable and open to suggestions and feedback. They are flexible and happy to take parents’ inputs on board which I find very comforting. We are sent out a curriculum at the start of every month, kids are given access to lots of hands-on learning activities and we are updated with daily photos and weekly reflections. Each room has a dedicated room leader and staff so the kids are able to bond well with consistent interactions. Plus, they have an awesome chef (thank you, chef Joseph) who whips up delicious food everyday. Five stars all the way!

I have a very good experience with this centre for over 2 years, highly recommended by the local community. The staff and the centre managers are very friendly and professional. They are outstanding in terms of care, communications, programmes and activities.
Kids bond very well with the educators.
