Taylor Child Care is a long day care centre which opened mid 2023! We cater for children aged between 6 weeks and 6 years located in the suburb of Taylor. We will operate 52 weeks per year from 7.00am till 6.00pm. Taylor Child Care is a privately-owned family business. Our goal is to provide the highest quality care that is a child’s right – stimulating, positive experiences and interactions that will foster all aspects of early childhood development.
All meals, milk, nappies, wipes and sheets are provided in the fees, meals will be cooked daily by our chef at the centre and meet all the nutritional guidelines set out by ACT Health.
We use Storypark as our means of Programming. Storypark allows our families to easily view and update what their children are doing during the day through an app on your phone. You are able to see your child’s learning and programs as well, at a time that is convenient for you. Many family members can be added to your child as well, meaning families can share with members close by or even overseas!
We are very excited to also inform you that our service has subscribed to a fantastic booking app called ’konnect’ through Kidsoft. You will also have the ability to book in casual days and report absences for your child straight from your phone in just a few taps. Booking casual days has never been so easy, so what are you waiting for get the app today!

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
