The qualified educators at Robyn Taylor Child Development Centre Burwood have vast experience within the childcare industry.  It is the philosophy of the centre that all educators contribute to creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children. The early learning childcare educators are carefully selected to provide the highest possible level of care.  The centre's approach is to establish a positive and collaborative environment that achieves high retention of staff and greater continuity for children. 

The centre understands that individualised programming for every child takes extra time and attention from staff. The centre fosters specialised programming educators to work collaboratively with parents, and Robyn Taylor, to implement the child's individualised program during the time that they are placed under our care. 

At Robyn Taylor Child Development Centre Burwood, the team is committed to providing tailored, holistic and leading care and learning for children. To ensure this, educators work directly with parents to ensure they understand the unique needs, abilities and interests of every child.

Parents are welcome to drop into the centre and to attend special events with their children. 

The centre also has a dedicated parent portal on its website. In the My Family Lounge portal, parents and family members can access details on children’s activities, learning milestones and centre events.

The centre incorporates the Robyn Taylor Framework alongside the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), to create an individualised curriculum for every child. 

Robyn Taylor is a child psychologist who for the last 40 years, has dedicated herself to understanding and developing strategies that assist children both cognitively and emotionally. The Robyn Taylor Framework recognises that each child is uniquely talented, and seeks to identify and extend on those gifts. It also helps identify each child’s educational, emotional, and social needs, to design tailored programs that help children thrive, and shine.  

The EYLF helps children develop skills in literacy, numeracy, languages, and art through play-based learning in a safe environment. 

The centre also offers a brain training program, which uses stimulating educational exercises. Brain training is designed to open new pathways in the brain, helping children to attain new skills. Introducing brain training during a child’s formative years helps strengthen and build cognitive abilities, stimulate a love for learning, improve confidence, and create a stronger sense of self. 

 The centre interiors are designed for age specific care and learning, with three large activity rooms, two cot rooms and a separate milk preparation room. The toddler and kindergarten rooms provide plenty of space for children to explore and develop skills with the support of educators. Each room is filled with age-appropriate furniture and toys in which children can learn and develop their spatial awareness, strength, sensory, and social skills.
