At Nurseryland Stafford, a patient and friendly team provides enriching learning opportunities for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. The centre focuses on learning through play, with stimulating programs that respond to children’s individual interests and needs. The recently renovated and resource-rich centre features bright interiors with exciting spaces including a computer workroom, a focused learning room and dance room. Children take part in a holistic program including science, art and reading, that nurtures their creativity and individuality, whilst also fostering the important skills needed for a smooth transition to school.

The spacious outdoor area features a sand pit, water play area, a mix of balance and climbing equipment, plus vegetable gardens that children can help tend to. Produce is then used in the chef prepared meals and snacks. Educators provide a stimulating outdoor program that supports physical and mental wellbeing, including sports and yoga.

Preschool

The centre has a stimulating preschool program that has been carefully designed to foster curiosity, creativity and the uniqueness of every child. The preschool program helps children learn in their own way, building essential school readiness skills through play.

The preschool curriculum includes holistic activities to support physical health and the highest standards of learning. Activities include:

Morning

Holly is 11 months old and this morning she has fun playing with a musical toy. She presses each button for a new sound, and laughs and claps along.

Lunch

After lunch with the group, it’s reading time. Holly picks a book with a caterpillar on the cover. She enjoys looking at the pictures as an educator reads with her, then settles down for her afternoon nap.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, the educators put out some pots of brightly coloured paint. Holly picks green and pink and paints a beautiful caterpillar.
