Barnardos Australia is proud to announce the opening of our new Early Learning Centre in Ultimo. With over 100 years of experience in caring for children, we are committed to providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere that enables your child to feel safe and secure at all times.

Our dedicated staff focus on the individual needs of your child, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, because we understand that every child is unique. We want to equip them with the necessary tools to unlock their full potential. We implement a curriculum that is designed to encourage and promote active learning, social development and creative thinking.

ABOUT OUR CENTRE

The new centre is a diverse, spacious and stimulating environment where your child will thrive. It has two different learning environments. Each space allows for your child’s curiosities to develop while enabling them to learn and discover at their own pace. We also have a beautiful large outdoor area, where kids can have fun and feel secure and connect with nature.

At Barnardos Early Learning Centre Ultimo, we believe in the power of learning and provide a well implemented, evidence-based curriculum for your child. All our educational programs are guided by the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.

Our team of qualified educators are also experienced in supporting children with additional needs.

At Barnardos Early Learning Centre each child’s individual nature and uniqueness is embraced and celebrated by our nurturing teaching team.

• NEW CENTRE - State of the art centre, designed to encourage play and learning for your child.
• 2 - 6 YEARS - We cater for children aged 2 years to 6 years old.
• LONG HOURS - We are open from 7:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
• LARGE OUTDOOR PLAY AREA - 2 dedicated learning environments and a custom-built, landscaped outdoor area that is fun and secure.
• EVIDENCE-BASED LEARNING CURRICULUM - We encourage children to explore, learn and grow at their own pace.
• ALL MEALS PROVIDED - We provide nutritious meals to the children to support growing minds and bodies which are prepared to the highest standards and current health guidelines by our on-site chef. 
• CONVENIENCE - Our centre welcomes children from far and wide, but as we are based at Ultimo Primary School, this provides a convenient one drop-off for parents with older siblings attending the school and allows the younger ones to familiarise themselves with the environment of the primary school for a smooth transition to ‘big school’.
