Located on the lands of the Gamilaroi people, Goodstart Moree caters for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in an inclusive and respectful learning environment. Diverse educators run a play-based curriculum which accounts for children's interests and needs. Children are encouraged to explore learning opportunities which develop their creativity, curiosity, imagination and sense of adventure.
Outside, the children can play on natural and manmade elements and surfaces. Sandpits, water play, flower and veggie gardens and mud and dirt areas encourage children to explore their environment while learning about sustainability and caring for nature. There is plenty of space for the children to play and let their imaginations roam while having fun.
Inside, the rooms are welcoming, with walls filled with learning resources and children's artwork. Resources and activities include dress-ups, educational games, a nature area and books to support the children's learning through the different stages of development.
