I am bewildered by the sudden influx of commendation. 1，Educators appear indifferent to the distress of certain infants, allowing them to weep unheeded. 2，It is observed that some educator walk with their shoes on babies' blankets on the floor. 3，Some kids have snot on their faces and no one to wipe it. 4，The person in charge is also making excuses for not apologizing when you complain about the situation. I’ve had two of my kids cared for at this centre, one just in the preschool and one has gone from older nursery... I’ve had two of my kids cared for at this centre, one just in the preschool and one has gone from older nursery and is in older toddlers now. My children feel loved and cherished. The rooms are homey, inviting and eclectic. It’s not Instagram chic as the toys are well used from lots of play, with lots of colours, often sourced from op-shops which I love the sustainability of. The educators are caring and engaged. They’re always very quick to notify me even of minor injuries and flexible to meet the goals of the family (eg toileting or sleep preferences). It’s super helpful that it’s next to the public school and often my little one can see her older siblings playing on the oval and say hello. I get the sense the educators are valued and have a say in the learning of the children as each brings different ideas/activities/songs/routines to the children’s day that enriches their learning. I have no hesitation to recommend this centre to new families. Also one of the more affordable centres around Gungahlin. Read more
