Welcome to Little Amigos Childcare Winston Hills

Little Amigos Winston Hills provides a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Our team of experienced educators facilitate a child-led program that encourages learning through play. We value each child's unique qualities and support their growth during their early years and beyond.

Our indoor spaces are vibrant and stimulating, designed to ignite the children's creativity. We proudly display the children's artwork on our walls, fostering a sense of belonging. The rooms are spacious and offer various areas for different learning styles and activities, including individual play and group experiences.

Our outdoor area is equipped with large shade sails to ensure sun safety. The children can also enjoy our impressive and colourful play structure, where they can climb and explore with their peers. There is plenty of space for adventure, promoting imaginative play and discovery.

Programs

The holistic program at Little Amigos incorporates a range of activities that support the children’s development. The skilled educators plan exciting excursions and embed extracurricular experiences, such as sports, cooking, aerobics and computer gym, into the daily program. The program is informed by the children’s interests, culture and developmental needs. The educators work with each child and their family to build a solid understanding of their needs and then plan a program to suit. 

The centre also runs an incredible transition to school program, developed in consultation with local primary school teachers. The program focuses on giving the children the skills they need to move successfully through to ‘big school’. This includes not only social and emotional skills but also pre-literacy and pre-numeracy skills.

Other important elements of the program include learning about Indigenous history, culture and traditions as well as laying the foundation of strong environmental awareness. These elements are embedded in the day-to-day activities and teach the children about their role as global citizens.
