Reggio Emilia Early Learning Centre Pagewood

Following the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the curriculum at Reggio Emilia Early Learning Centre is designed around projects. With a focus on fun and play, the children are engaged in the project based around their unique interests. 

The educators document the projects and share the children’s progress through portfolios that document the children’s individual learning journeys. 

The curriculum for the preschool program helps to equip the children with tools and skills they’ll need for their transition to big school. Taught by qualified teachers, the preschool curriculum provides the framework for the different learning activities the children participate in.

The educators at Reggio Emilia Early Learning Centre are committed to inspiring the children in their care and instilling a lifelong love of learning. Working collaboratively as a team and with the children, the educators provide a rich and nurturing environment where the children are free to explore and discover.

The educators participate in regular ongoing professional development. This learning is designed to enhance their skills and knowledge so they can fulfil their role as inspiring leaders for the children.

"My daughter started childcare here at 7 months old. Being a first time mom, to say that I was stressed about leaving my baby at childcare at such a young age will be an understatement. But the ladies at Reggio were so patient with my queries and phone calls always. They are passionate and caring and treat us like family. My daughter is now 11 months old and I feel like they are able to care for her better than me at times. If any day she doesn’t have a good night and they see I am anxious, they would ring me even when baby is doing well just to calm my nerves.
I chose Reggio because it’s a stone throw from where I live and pick-ups and drop-offs will be easier before and after work, and everyday I am happy that I took the chance. Some of the reviews here made me second guess before sending my child here, but I am glad I didn’t take heed. The educators and managers are lovely. Never incurred a dollar extra charge (unlike claimed in a review). And very happy with their activities, naps and feeds Alhamdulliah. Love this place which my bub can call second home. My younger son Austin have just started his childcare life couple months, we can see the big changes happening everyday, we could imaging how much effort the teaches put on him. And we always gets feedback and advice from the professional educators about my son. And the best part is they offer excursions once a month, which we have never experienced at other centre before for my other two kids. And it is for free. What an amazing place. Highly recommend."
