Welcome to Lightning Reef YMCA Early Learning Centre

With a holistic approach to early learning, Lightning Reef YMCA Early Learning Centre has designed a range of exciting programs to nurture your child's social, physical and cognitive development. 

Lightning Reef was built with safety, indoor/outdoor play and inclusivity (all abilities) at the forefront of the design process. Our ELC is situated next door to Lightning Reef Primary School. This co-location enables us to support your child to feel prepared and excited with the next step of their schooling journey!

We deliver education and childcare for children aged six weeks to 6 years that develops confidence and an inquiring mind. Come and visit Lightning Reef YMCA Early Learning Centre, meet our passionate educators and discuss how our centre and programs can help your child nurture their interests, skills and abilities.

Our passionate and experienced educators run a diverse and exciting mix of quality programs including:

• Long day care for preschool aged children
• Funded three and four-year-old Kindergarten Programs
• Before and After Kinder Care Program
• Before and After School Programs
• School Holiday programs (vacation care) for all children aged five to 12 years

Our Early Learning Programs include:

• Nappies and linen
• Kitchen garden
• Healthy meals and snacks throughout the day, prepared by our on-site Chef who can meet with families to discuss dietary requirements
• Shaded outdoor play areas (sunscreen is provided for all children)
• Long opening hours - 6:30am to 6:00pm
• Regular incursions and excursions
