The seasonal menu of nutritious meals and snacks was created with a nutritionist and is prepared for the children by the on-site chef.
The centre understands the needs of busy families, which is why they regularly offer a take home meal to parents. There is also complimentary morning tea for parents to enjoy as part of the morning drop off.
Children at the centre can enjoy breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. There’s cereal and toast for breakfast; veggie packed bolognese, fried rice or chicken pasta bake for lunch; fruit platters, muffins and scrolls for snacks. Children are also given opportunities to develop their cooking skills through interactive classes with the centre chef on a weekly basis.

Morning
Millie is 11 months old and has made some lovely friendships at Eden Academy. When she arrives she sees her friend Evie and they play together on the mat.
Lunchtime
Millie has some lunch and then is settled down for a nap by her favourite educator. She feels safe and secure sleeping at the centre.
Afternoon
Millie enjoys some fun with play dough with some of the other nursery children and their educator. Millie is making some pretend cakes and putting them on the tray to 'cook' in the home corner.
About the curriculum
About the curriculum
6 weeks - 2 years
The children are cared for in a home-like environment by consistent educators. The program includes both individual and group experiences, with lots of music, singing, dancing, stories, outdoor play, art and more. The educators follow the individual home routines of the babies.
2 years - 3 years
To help develop a sense of security, there is a lot of routine for this age group, including repetitive play as this is how they learn best. Toilet training is conducted, and there is a healthy balance between outdoor and indoor, quiet and active and individual and group activities. Regular meal and rest times support a child’s individual routine.
3 years - 5 years
Children's fine motor skills are developed through activities such as construction, blocks, drawing, painting and playdough. Educators encourage independence and build a child’s self-esteem by allowing them to manage their toileting, dressing and eating. Basic numeracy and literacy skills are introduced, as well as creativity, social and physical development. Emphasis is placed on developing confidence to try new skills, discover science, and learn about the wider community.
