Future Super Stars ELC Epping Centre overview
Catering to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, Future Super Stars ELC Epping offers a boutique environment where all children feel welcome. The educators follow a holistic approach, nurturing the children in all areas of their development. The children’s confidence grows as they learn through play, with engaging, stimulating and interactive activities.
Inside, the rooms are bright and colourful. Each room caters to a different age group and is well resourced to meet the developmental needs of the children in the room. The children participate in small and large group activities and also have time for individual play and quiet exploration.
Outside, the children can dig in the sandpit, play with blocks, swing or ride their bikes. The educators encourage imaginative play and give the children space to explore and discover. They build important physical skills through gross motor play and activities, while also building social skills as they play alongside their peers.
Located next to Whittlesea Tech School, the centre is convenient to access by both bus and train. There’s also a large car park on site for easy access at drop off and pick up. Why not book a tour of this warm and inclusive centre today?

Parent communication and involvement
Future Super Stars has an open door policy to facilitate collaborative relationships between educators and families. The centre fosters a strong community and offers a diverse and inclusive environment where all families feel welcome.
Every child has a learning portfolio, which includes their goals, progress notes, assessments, reflections and art samples. The children can also choose to add their own pictures to the portfolio. The children can take these home to share with their families. The content is also loaded to the secure StoryPark platform, accessible by the families.
About the curriculum
About the curriculum
The educators at Future Super Stars ELC follow a play-based curriculum that nurtures the children’s development across a range of skills. This includes emotional, social, physical, sensory and cognitive skills. The children participate in both structured and spontaneous learning activities in the indoor and outdoor learning environments.
The curriculum aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework and shows respect for the children’s voices. They have opportunities to guide their own learning and contribute to the curriculum through their interests and strengths.
The educators also build reflection into the curriculum. This includes their own reflection on the learning outcomes as well as the children’s reflection on their own learning. They do this through floor books with photos of the different activities. The children cut and paste the photos into the book while they discuss them with their peers and educators. The children can also paste their own images into their individual learning journal.

Zac is 10 months old and in the Nursery room at Future Super Stars. He starts his day at the centre with some outdoor play with his peers. He loves to dig in the sandpit and tries to fill a bucket with sand.
Lunch
The educators follow Zac’s home routine so he has a nap before lunch. After lunch he sits with his educator and reads some books that he chooses from the bookshelf.
Afternoon
Before he goes home, Zac enjoys doing some finger painting. While he was tentative at first, he soon starts gleefully dipping his fingers into the paint and then putting the paint onto the paper.

2.5-year-old Isla excitedly heads to the home corner when she arrives at the centre in the morning. She loves to play in the play kitchen and make some food for her educators.

In the afternoon, the educators have planned a group activity for the toddlers. After Isla’s interest in butterflies, the educators read the children a book about butterflies.

So grateful to have found Future Super Stars for our child's final few years of early learning. Our child has had culturally diverse and compassionate educators help her through the different stages of development. The director and team have been responsive to any social challenges and helped educate the kids and community as needed. It's a smaller centre, set away from the busyness of noisy main roads, with gorgeous old trees and new play structures in the outdoor area. Bush Kinder helped reinforce my child's appreciation for nature and development other safety skills. Thanks to the team for their ongoing dedication and commitment. FSS is a hidden gem! Read more
