Unfortunately, this has been the most frustrating experience a young child could experience. Due to older siblings starting school, our little one had to start new closer to home day care.
I feel this started when
I had tried to discuss an issue with the receptionist, during a frindley conversation, wouldn't let me finish explaining myself, she out right told me if you're not listening!
From day on, I avoided all contact with this lady. Unfortunately, they just took it out on my poor baby, painting him as a bully or distrubtive. Now they call 1x week or twice a week
sending him home half a day or before lunch sometimes, all the while they were still collecting full payment.
Saying the same thing, he's a bully. Mean while,
He has retuned home in soild clothes obviously, no assistance with toileting. Scratch and red marks on his left shoulder and back, There's been change in his behaviour since attending this daycare, when ask how was your day, our little one would reply, im a bad boy! referring to himself as bad! Or using the word hate!
In quite a few moments with him, he would say the name of a child and say they pulled my hair.
Raising the question, are they saying these words to him!? Are they watching the kids?
This is not babies first day care, so It's very clear the difference when your baby thrives, in a caring environment at kindy mindy, his last daycare where he loved, singing, interacting with his teachers and other student's with story's, dancing, this structure, was a great building ground. There were always strategies to build and learn good and healthy communications in his last day care.
All 3 of our babies thrived in daycare
Now, in Thrive early learning centre, this has been a victimised environment, which is very real for our little one, its heartbreaking and very frustrating for parents and family. The solution that this day care has given is to cut the days down.
Please, parents and care givers, babies don't lie, they mimick and repeat what's said and done to them.
