About Community Kids Cessnock Long Daycare and Preschool

Welcome to Community Kids Cessnock. We're ideally located for families in Hunter Valley, Black Creek, Bellbird Creek, Aberdare Road, Nulkaba.

Our Long Daycare and Preschool Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

We provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays.

Our dedicated team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.

Getting school ready? We offer the Government-approved Preschool program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.

We offer a great variety of learning experiences at our Centre including:

- Sustainability Program: Helps children develop and understand the importance of embedding sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of protecting our planet.

- Community Engagement Program: Encourages children to interact with and discover their local community. We often have visits from community services, and we go out on adventures to teach the children about their local environment.

- Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course, have fun.

Dear Jessica, thank you for sharing your experience. We take all feedback seriously and are committed to providing a stable, safe, and nurturing environment for all children in our care. We understand that consistency is important, and while staff changes can sometimes be necessary, we always strive to ensure smooth transitions for the children. We’re truly sorry to hear that you’ve felt unsettled by recent changes, and we appreciate your kind words about our educator Leesa. Our team works hard to support each child, and we will continue to prioritise communication and stability as much as possible. Regarding your concerns about staffing and communication, we’d love the opportunity to discuss them further to ensure we’re addressing them in a way that best supports your family. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our centre team directly so we can better understand your concerns and work towards a positive outcome. We value your trust and appreciate you being part of our centre. Kind regards, The Community Kids Team
