C&K Geebung Kindergarten & Preschool is a much-loved and respected Kindy set in a beautiful, quiet, parkland location in northern Brisbane.
Geebung Kindy is the trusted choice for quality child care and education for the families of Geebung, Zillmere, Chermside, Virginia, Aspley, Wavell Heights and surrounding suburbs.
Like you, we value early childhood education and provide a safe and nurturing environment for our play-based curriculum.
We offer a Kindy program for children who turn 4 years old by June 30 in the year they attend (the year immediately prior to the Prep year).
Our Kindergarten is Queensland-Government approved and we are affiliated with C&K.
We are a not-for-profit organization and our income is derived for government subsidies and fees charged to parents.
We are administered by a voluntary management committee, which is formed from parent whose children attend our Kindy.
Geebung Kindy has natural, shady and well-established play spaces – including a digging patch.

I do not recommend this garden, they discriminate against children. My daughter has a speech delay (she speaks but does not say the number of words a child her age says) and when we visited this daycare they told me that her daughter is not at the level of the room, it will cause problems because she is not fluent and she does not speak english, but you can see the bad attitude of the secretary who gave us the tour, we did not receive the admission papers, we called her twice and did not receive the email. I did not think of putting my daughter in a place that classifies children without having medical or scientific criteria to say that my daughter is going to be a problem for them. hello, thanks for your answer, we went twice, it is under the name of my husband, you can verify it in your system we went on 30/11/2021 and 19/07/2022 Read more
Hi Martha, we believe you might have visited the C&K Childcare Centre on Robinson Road, not Geebung Kindergarten and Preschool. We are a separate kindergarten, and not associated with the child care centre at all. If this is the case we would appreciate if you could remove your review. Hi Martha, we would appreciate if you could contact us regarding this review. We are a community kindergarten that offers a program for 4-5 year olds in the year before school commences, located at 1 Maidencombe Street Geebung. We believe your review may be for another child care centre in the area as we do not have a record of you touring our kindy. We are an inclusive kindergarten that welcomes children from a diverse range of backgrounds, and we believe it is important to recognise that each child is unique and irrespective of gender, culture or ability, they should be treated with respect and dignity. Please feel free to contact us on 07 3265 6609 or via our email geebungkindy@gmail.com If your review is meant for another centre in the area we would really appreciate if you could remove this from our google profile. Kind regards, Geebung Kindergarten and Preschool.

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
