Conveniently located in North West Sydney our Young Academics Kellyville Redden service caters for children aged six weeks to six years, providing a resource-rich learning environment designed to encourage a love of lifelong learning.
Young Academics is renowned for its distinctive approach to high-quality early childhood education that is tailored to the needs of each individual child.
Each of our centres is purpose-built to create vibrant, stimulating learning environments designed to nurture children’s cognitive development, confidence and social skills during the critical early learning years. As a forward-thinking organisation we are constantly researching and reflecting to discover the latest advances in early childhood education.
Through our custom-designed programs – the Evolution Program and the Transition to School Program – our passionate, experienced educators, many of whom are multilingual, deliver a holistic education balancing organised experiences with play-based learning at stations dedicated to key skills including numeracy, literacy, STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), music, drama and art.
Our indoor learning environments are packed with age-appropriate resources promoting imaginative play, experimentation and collaboration. Our outdoor learning environments help children develop their curiosity, gross motor skills and understanding of sustainability using resources such as building areas, sandpits, bike tracks, herb gardens and worm farms.
Each Young Academics Early Learning Centre works closely with families and the local community to meet children’s needs, and many families continue to visit our educators many years after their children have moved on to school.
Children enjoy five nutritious meals and snacks every day, prepared by our in-house cooks, and all nappies and wipes are included. Cot linen provided (excludes stretcher bed linen).

About the Curriculum
About the Curriculum
0-2 Foundations of exploration
Our Educators support young children during this rapid period of growth and change through nurturing and responsive relationships. Our educators ensure that children’s individual needs for sleeping, eating, active and quiet play are met on time, every day.
2-3 building independence
Our environments have been strategically designed to allow Toddlers to learn, develop and explore, supporting their ever increasing sense of curiosity. Independence skills and choices are a key part of the day, building to a positive approach to learning and trying.
3-4 creating connections
Our Educators support our Preschoolers to learn more about the world around them, and their impact on others Increased language skills leads to greater collaboration in play, and a greater understanding of differences.
4-5 transition to school
Our Transition to School Program is designed to develop learning dispositions, providing a fluid transition into Early Stage One of the Australian School Curriculum. Increased social and emotional confidence supports healthy risk taking, making predictions and ongoing resilience.
Health and Nutrition
Health and Nutrition
At Young Academics, we believe the first five years of a child’s life are critical for establishing healthy eating habits, exploring new foods, and meeting essential nutritional needs to support growth and development. Good nutrition not only enhances physical health but also boosts a child’s well-being, self-confidence, and focus.
That’s why we’ve developed our unique Nutrition Program in collaboration with a qualified nutritionist. This program is designed to help children understand the importance of healthy eating, hygiene, and physical activity. We encourage children to actively participate in meal preparation and serving, fostering a hands-on approach to learning about nutrition.
Our carefully crafted seasonal menu, which rotates every four weeks, is designed to meet 50% of your child’s daily nutritional requirements. It includes a variety of nourishing foods such as vegetables, fruits, lean meats, fish, chicken, dairy products, and more, ensuring children receive a balanced diet that supports their growth and development.
Kindergarten/Preschool Programs

Our dedicated educators work closely with each child, providing tailored support to ensure they feel confident and emotionally ready for the next step in their learning journey. We focus on building essential skills such as problem-solving, communication, and teamwork, while also fostering independence, resilience, and a love for learning.

Very happy with YA Redden Drive, Ms Jas and her team of educators are very caring. My child went to another childcare for 2.5 years and was very happy there but we moved into the area and therefore had to change childcares. The entire team has helped my child settle in well. Thank you team 🙏🏼 Very grateful 🙏🏼 Read more

My son attended this centre for about 9 months and after pulling him out and taking him to another centre, I realised how unhappy he was during his time at Young Academics Kellyville on Redden Drive. There were a couple of educators in the centre who had created a very toxic environment. On top of that they had a female dominated culture where most educators paid too much attention to the girls and the very few boys who attended the centre were often ignored, left alone and treated roughly. The centre manager did not seem to have the centre under control and those educators rather managed her and dictated their own rules instead. I regret not moving my son to another centre sooner. So many things to say but dishonesty and cruelty are the highlights, they traumatised our daughter. They only try to keep the look good, and that's supported by the head office too. Their method is to leave the new child to cry, isolate and goast them until they give up, doesn’t matter if the child get damaged emotionally, no comforting at all. During orientation dates my two year old showed very good signs even saying buy to me meaning you can go. However on the third day of attending this centre I had to drop there around 1pm without notice since it was the second day that there wasn't any trace of her in the photos, to find her lying down on her chest crying silently (out of character for her) and soaked in tears and sweat suggesting she had been crying for extended time and nobody had comforted her. She seemed very scared to reach out to me, I noticed the hoarseness in her voice as soon as she began vocally crying as I hold her. After that she was waking up for a couple of nights crying and wanting us, being traumatised by the educators cruelty. First day I asked them that if she cried and was upset call us we pick her up but they never did, the app was showing she has been sleeping for 1.5 hours and it turned out she was just forced to stay in bed. She has just started to go to another centre she slept there from the day one, saw with my own eyes, and she is very happy and excited once I pick her up despite the bad experience she had just a month a go with YA.That shows how easy she is to be settled she just wanted to be treated like a little human not a piece of dry stick. If your child doesn't get settled it is not normal, change their environment. Hi Mel: Please do not pretend that I am a first time anxious mum because I am not, and I know kids will cry when their environment changes , and I know the difference between a child that cries because she missed her parents and a distressed child that hasn't been cared for and has been isolated . For your information during orientation she was great and no body said anything other than she will be fine. Anyway I have already made a complaint to the department of education. Read more
