What the parents say
What the parents say
“Reggio Emilia has been like an extended family. My daughter enjoys the school, staff and other children. I really like the fact that they listen to any feedback the parents may have and takes all necessary steps in betterment of kids and their development, school readiness. Our daughter has been with Reggio Emilia since she was 6 months old and is now getting ready for School next year. I am pleased that this is happening under the guidance of well-trained staff. For me, Reggio Emilia has been a ‘second me’ in shaping my child and helping her to become independent.”
Pari Shankar
“It has been a wonderful journey for our daughter. She loves sharing all her experiences and amuses me with all her funny stories. I thank all the Educators and staff who bring out positive energy in her and other children. I would highly recommend Reggio Emilia to everyone 🙂”
Nidhi Makhija
“What we love about Reggio Emilia ELC is that the learning experience is based on the children’s own interests. The Educators will explore these interests through various activities – this always keeps it fun and fresh for our son. Additionally, the social interaction with other children has allowed him to develop genuine friendships.”
Suzanne
“My son enjoys at Reggio Emilia very much, and my wife and I have been incredibly impressed with the nurturing, caring and professional approach to childcare. Thanks to all the Educators for making him comfortable, cared for and safe.”

About the curriculum
About the curriculum
Following the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the curriculum at Reggio Emilia Early Learning Centre is designed around projects. With a focus on fun and play, the children are engaged in the project based around their unique interests.
The educators document the projects and share the children’s progress through portfolios that document the children’s individual learning journeys.
The curriculum for the preschool program helps to equip the children with tools and skills they’ll need for their transition to big school. Taught by qualified teachers, the preschool curriculum provides the framework for the different learning activities the children participate in.
Programs
Programs
In addition to regular incursions and excursions, the children at Reggio Emilia Learning Centre participate in an enriching extracurricular program. This is known as the Reggio 5 and incorporates:

Reggio Fitness: through diverse activities, such as dancing, yoga, soccer and martial arts, the children develop their physical skills while developing healthy lifestyle habits.
Reggio Music: as one of the 100 languages, children learn self-expression through music as well as important social, emotional, language and motor skills.
Reggio Language: to support the children’s cognitive development, they participate in French language lessons.
Reggio Earth: the children learn about sustainability issues, concepts and practices so they can understand their impact on the environment and their role in protecting the earth.

Hello Insight Weaver, We sincerely apologise for any misunderstanding during your recent visit. Our primary concern during fire drills is the safety of all individuals in our centre, including visitors like yourself. For safety and regulatory reasons, we must adhere strictly to fire drill protocols, which do require temporarily vacating the reception area. As we are sure you can appreciate - the purpose of a drill, is to imitate the process of a real fire (which would not allow families in). We do try our best to plan fire drills at a convenient time (when usually no or minimal families are signing in) and babies are awake. Please understand that this decision was in no way intended to be rude or discriminatory. We take pride in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of background or ethnicity. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we will use it to enhance our communication and ensure that all visitors feel respected and informed during emergencies.
