Our kids settled in in no time which was all the certainty we needed to know we made the right choice. Empathic. Good communication. Proactive and fun to sum it up. We’re so thrilled and reluctantly are telling all our friends because it really feels like a great secret gem we’ve uncovered but it’s too good to keep to ourselves. Read more

I’m absolutely disgusted at how some of the new staff were so negative and rude and had absolutely zero respect for Son today when we were supposed to be celebrating his birthday. They walked away from him instead of singing him a happy birthday. They made it such a horrible, negative, awkward and sad experience. It doesn’t get any lower than that! Instead of it being a fun and special experience for my Son, it was absolutely pitiful. Tyrese will not be returning because I can only imagine how terrible he is being treated while I’m not around to witness it. I cannot express how disappointed and how disgusted I am with this service or lack of. Mariana Read more
Hi Mariana, I am sorry how the way the situation has made you feel. I understand kindly being told that you would unfortunately not be allowed to stay to participate in the birthday event is very disappointing, not just for you but also for us all here at Little Voyagers. I agree that under normal circumstances we usually would allow for families to come and enjoy in Birthday Celebrations. In fact, we normally would encourage such community and love in our centre. However, during these uncertain times with Covid running rampant in society, our policies and procedures have had to be adjusted to protect the children under our care and our staff. As stated in our recent communication with families, our Covid Policy stands that we strictly cannot let anyone non-essential come into the centre. This recommendation has been directed from the NSW Education Department. We have implemented this policy in the best interest of the children, staff and families to reduce the risk of transmission. Most of our other families have reached out to congratulate us on how we have been handling the situation during the peak of the pandemic and how we are doing everything in our power to keep their children protected from Covid. I can assure you, your son, as all the children here, are always treated with so much love and respect whilst at our centre. I am very disappointed that you possibly could think otherwise. Again Mariana, I wish you and your son all the very best and I hope you can cherish the many good memories and experiences we’ve had with Tyrese. Regards, Natalie
