Welcome to Blossoms Childcare & Early Learning Centre - Lane Cove

Established in 2016, Blossoms Childcare Lane Cove is a boutique centre providing enriching care and an adaptive learning environment for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. A team of caring and skilled early learning professionals deliver stimulating and sensory programs that help children build the essential skills for school, and beyond.

Situated in a converted house, the centre has a wonderful homelike environment, ensuring children feel safe, secure and calm. In the light-filled centre, furnishings, decor and resources are designed to pique children’s natural curiosity. Educators present exciting activities including art and music, and organise incursions and excursions that introduce children to the community and wider learning.

In the beautiful outdoor area, children are encouraged to create their own adventures, honing social and motor skills with a mix of age specific equipment including slippery slides, climbing frames and sandpits. Children can also water the flower and vegetable gardens and pick produce for the centre’s nutritious seasonal meals, learning about nature and responsibility.

With a convenient location in leafy Lane Cove and parking on site, pick ups and drop offs are quick and easy. Why not book a tour of this inviting and enriching centre today?

Programs

The centre believes that children learn through play and has developed a range of holistic programs in line with guidelines set by ACECQA, National Quality Framework and The Early Years Learning Framework. The play based programs are tailored to children’s age, developmental levels and interests, and designed to foster holistic cognitive, social, physical, motor and emotional development.

Preschool

For children 3 and over, the  preschool program focuses on building essential school readiness skills. Children take part in stimulating activities including literacy, science and numeracy, whilst educators also nurture resilience, emotional stability and social skills, for a smooth transition to kindergarten.

Emergent Curriculum

The emergent curriculum program is responsive to children’s interests, providing meaningful, relevant and engaging activities for every child. Educators working within the emergent curriculum build on children’s prior learning and current interests, and provoke new ideas and learning opportunities that challenge and extend children’s understanding about the world.
