Blossoms Childcare & Early Learning Centre - Lane Cove Centre overview
Established in 2016, Blossoms Childcare Lane Cove is a boutique centre providing enriching care and an adaptive learning environment for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. A team of caring and skilled early learning professionals deliver stimulating and sensory programs that help children build the essential skills for school, and beyond.
Situated in a converted house, the centre has a wonderful homelike environment, ensuring children feel safe, secure and calm. In the light-filled centre, furnishings, decor and resources are designed to pique children’s natural curiosity. Educators present exciting activities including art and music, and organise incursions and excursions that introduce children to the community and wider learning.
In the beautiful outdoor area, children are encouraged to create their own adventures, honing social and motor skills with a mix of age specific equipment including slippery slides, climbing frames and sandpits. Children can also water the flower and vegetable gardens and pick produce for the centre’s nutritious seasonal meals, learning about nature and responsibility.
With a convenient location in leafy Lane Cove and parking on site, pick ups and drop offs are quick and easy. Why not book a tour of this inviting and enriching centre today?

Programs
Programs
The centre believes that children learn through play and has developed a range of holistic programs in line with guidelines set by ACECQA, National Quality Framework and The Early Years Learning Framework. The play based programs are tailored to children’s age, developmental levels and interests, and designed to foster holistic cognitive, social, physical, motor and emotional development.
Preschool
For children 3 and over, the preschool program focuses on building essential school readiness skills. Children take part in stimulating activities including literacy, science and numeracy, whilst educators also nurture resilience, emotional stability and social skills, for a smooth transition to kindergarten.
Emergent Curriculum
The emergent curriculum program is responsive to children’s interests, providing meaningful, relevant and engaging activities for every child. Educators working within the emergent curriculum build on children’s prior learning and current interests, and provoke new ideas and learning opportunities that challenge and extend children’s understanding about the world.

Parent communication and involvement
The team believes that family is the most important and influential teacher for young children, and actively works to build positive, respectful and constructive relationships with all children and families.
Partnerships with families help educators deliver programs that best reflect children's cultural backgrounds and heritage. Parents and carers are welcome to speak with educators during drop off and pick up, and at regular parent-teacher interviews during the year.
Families can stay up to date with child and centre activities via the My Family Lounge (MFL) portal and newsletters, and are invited to visit the centre for cultural celebrations throughout the year.

Our daughter has attended Blossoms from approximately 7 months old to now. They are an especially accommodating childcare who are really engaged and made her feel comfortable. They were able to help manage her medical condition in their care and I always found our daughter to be very happy with their educators. Thankyou to the Blossoms staff who really made an extra effort to help her transition into childcare at such an early age. We would highly recommend this childcare for any parent especially in the under 1 age group. Read more

We loved the homelike feel of this centre and the educators are genuinely friendly and caring towards the children. Some turnover of staff in the year we spent there, but all have been good. There are two seperate buildings and play areas for 0-2 and 2-5 with no family grouping time and seperate drop offs. There are extra fees in addition to the daily rate (eg yearly incursion fees, birthday cake fee, happy feet/extra curricular fees etc) plus byo nappies, bedding, hats and water bottles so one of the more expensive centres in the area. Communication with the educators is ok for a daily update and the disorganisation from the expansion across two buildings is improving. Communication with management for dietary plans, medication plans, feedback on the service etc is more difficult as they work across sites so it’s hard to have face to face conversations and build a relationship.
