Edge Early Learning Ngunnawal provides long day care and preschool programs tailored to children from 6 weeks to school age. The centre is rated exceeding in the National Quality Standards.
The team of qualified educators deliver an educational program for all ages with an inquiry-based approach that enables children to ask questions and explore new ideas and discover new interests through play.
The program also promotes healthy eating and active lifestyles. The amazing in-house Chef and Nutritional Leader, Anant, prepares a nutritious array of meals each week which provides children with a healthy balanced diet and sustained energy throughout the day. The children also enjoy cooking experiences in our commercial kitchen and learning about the different foods that make up a healthy diet.
At Edge Ngunnawal, they are very connected to the culture of our First Nations People and enjoy exploring our beautiful native surroundings on Ngunnawal Land. The children learn about their connection to Country through exploring native flora, practising Aboriginal artwork, and exploring the history and stories told throughout the Dreamtime.

This is an incredible daycare with great facilities and equipment. The staff are the best out of any daycare I've sent my children to ever. They are super caring, kind and lovely. They teach so well and both my kids come home with heaps of new things learned every day! They also teach them imense amount of multicultural and inclusive things and it makes me so proud when they come home and teach me about various cultures, how to sign and heaps more. Read more

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
