Ardtornish Primary School OSHC
Ardtornish Primary School OSHC Centre overview
Located in bright, modern accommodations with a wealth of resources, Ardtornish OSHC provides children with a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment that promotes growth and development. We offer a child-focused program with active, play-based learning approaches that strengthen motivation whilst maintaining investigative sustainable practices. Practicing sustainability empowers children to construct knowledge, explore values and develop an appreciation of the environment and its relationship to their worlds.
At Ardtornish OSHC, we believe that children have the right to be treated with respect and dignity. We believe children are individuals, who can learn and grow in a safe space where they feel comfortable expressing themselves. Our educators are trained to create a bright innovative environment where children are encouraged to be inquisitive and explore their surroundings. We encourage our educators to develop strong relationships with their peers, children and families which helps build trust and instil a collaborative culture.
Family, school and local community, culture, and sense of belonging are all vital to a child’s development. Ardtornish OSHC acknowledges and explores the diverse cultural practices, lifestyle choices, home recipes, backgrounds, and traditions of each child's family. With strong partnerships OSHC aims to provide opportunities to share specialized skills and knowledge within our program.
