At Edge Early Learning Crestmead, we are dedicated to providing exceptional child care and education for children aged 6 weeks to school age.
Our purpose-built centre is conveniently located next to Crestmead State School, offering an added convenience for families with extended daycare hours, session options to maximise your Child Care Subsidy (CCS), and ample on-site parking.
We prioritise quality education, nutritious meals that cater to diverse dietary requirements, and a supportive community. Our goal is to set your child up for success in their life-long educational journey.
Our indoor-outdoor spaces inspire children to explore and unleash their learning potential in environments that align with their interests. We embrace an inquiry-based approach, encouraging children to ask questions, discover new interests, and develop a love for learning through play-based experiences. This type of learning fosters problem-solving skills and effective communication, providing valuable tools for their future.
Join us at Edge Crestmead, where we create a nurturing and engaging environment that supports your child's growth and development every step of the way.

I have already discussed this matter with management regarding my child. I am leaving this review here to inform other families with similar dietary restrictions, as the centre might withhold crucial information. Although they claim their meat is sourced from halal suppliers, the kitchen and overall practices at the centre do not adhere to halal standards. This has been a significant issue for my family, as we rely on strict halal compliance for our children's dietary needs. Additionally, the lack of proper halal standards raises health and safety concerns, which is disappointing and misleading for families who trust this information. On a positive note, some staff members are wonderful and very supportive, particularly those I have known from a previous centre. Their dedication and understanding are commendable. Read more

Worst daycare I’ve ever entered! I feel sorry for the kids that are still attending because they don’t care! They’re good at writing in routine but the nappy rash’s they be getting don’t add up and the countless times I pick them up they’re starving. The teachers there have never made me or my kids feel welcome except for their ONE teacher Krystal she’s amazing!!! Read more
Hi Linah, thank you for your feedback. We were unable to find you in our system, and do not have an educator named Krystal at this centre. Could you please contact us at enquiries@edgeearlylearning.com.au so we can discuss your feedback further?

For a new centre (open for less than 12 months) they seem to go through directors a lot. Some of the staff are great but some not so much! The way they talk to parents is appalling. The dirty looks they give that’s another story. The atmosphere is not welcoming and this has let to us removing our children from this centre. Read more

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
