Guardian Childcare & Education Pascoe Vale is a light-filled, warm and welcoming Centre, with a range of exciting, resource-rich environments. There are three spacious outdoor yards where the children are encouraged to explore and learn, as well as herb and vegetable gardens, a climbing fort, mud pits, a copper water wall, rain tank, yoga experiences, and a range of other age-specific play areas.
The children love our recently refurbished centre, especially the three spacious outdoor garden areas where they can explore and learn.
Children at Guardian Pascoe Vale are fortunate to get out and about on regular excursions, so we have a great connection with the local community. Favourite locations for the children to visit include our community garden, the park, post office, supermarket and our local primary school, which forms an important part of our transition to school programs.
We have a dedicated on-site cook who prepares five nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day. The children and Educators enjoy venturing into the Centre gardens to gather herbs and vegetables to use in meals and in the hands-on cooking classes we host each week.
The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of Free Kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care Kindergarten program. Families will save up to $2,101 a year for children aged three-years-old and above in eligible long day cares in 2025.
