Jenny's Kindergarten Maiden Gully Centre overview
Located in a quiet suburban street, Jenny's Kindergarten Maiden Gully is surrounded by beautiful native bushland that is incorporated into centre's supervised programs at every opportunity.
Opened in 2008, Jenny's ELC Maiden Gully embraces the diverse interests and developing skills of each child through offering its adaptive and tailored curriculum. Open for 51 weeks of the year, Jenny's ELC Maiden Gully is closed only for the week between Christmas and New Year, as well as Victorian public holidays.
Throughout the year, the centre offers a diverse range of activities to support each child's interests, and build relationships between families and the local community. Jenny's ELC Maiden Gully facilitates activities such as excursions, incursions, special family events, and dress up days.
A core feature of our Maiden Gully centre is the Kindergarten program, which typically operates 7.5 hours each day. Run by a university qualified Kindergarten educator, our Kindergarten program assists in preparing your child for their transition into formal schooling.
Developed in partnership with the Early Learning Coordinators of surrounding schools, we want the changeover from early childhood care to formal schooling to be as smooth as possible. This program includes supervised visits to the local primary school and visits from the school's Prep teacher.
At Jenny's ELC Maiden Gully, our Pre-Kindergarten program. provides our children with the opportunity to explore the resources of the Kindergarten room, develop relationships with older children as we aim to support each child's confidence and aid in the comfortable adjustment into Kindergarten before their transition into formal schooling. Our Pre Kindergarten programs will continue to develop and support the children to allow them to be the best version of themselves as they grow.

We are always greeted with friendly smiles. The educators are absolutely fantastic and really take the time to get to know your child and understand their needs, ensuring that it is always such a positive experience. Our daughter has been going 2 days a week for the past 12 months, and absolutely loves it! She often asks to go to day care on days she is not enrolled. Regular daily updates provided through the app are very reassuring for parents, as we can see how our daughter is going throughout the day also giving us an insight to the activities and learning. Staff are always very accommodating to our needs as parents, going above and beyond to assist with any extra days of care, at our request. I can not recommend Maiden Gully ELC enough! Read more

Our children have attended this centre for a number of years. While the educators have always been excellent in their dedication to the children, the new management team and senior kindergarten staff have particularly impressed us this year (2024) with their willingness and ability to support children with disability and neurodivergence. Underpinning this is a readiness of senior staff and management to positively engage with parents about their child's needs and to tailor routines and programs accordingly. The positive culture is reflected in our child's significant progress in terms of wanting to attend daycare and be involved in programs and activities throughout the day. Read more
