I would just like to say how happy it makes me to see my two beautiful children getting so much love from you all there at 3 Steps Early Learning Centre when I can’t be there to do that. My second child started at only just 6 months old - I had educators videoing first roll, all the way to first steps! It’s great when you can’t be there physically that they make sure you’re always notified about it! I love that my oldest will tell me her best friends are all the educators first and then her little friends as well, and how much she loves going every day!

My 2yr old son attends 3 Steps Early Learning Centre. This centre has a great variety of indoor and outdoor activities keeping my little boy very busy. The staff are genuinely lovely and very supportive, I leave there knowing he will be happy. When I pick him up he is always smiling and happily playing. This is a wonderful centre for any little people to grow and learn.

I highly recommend this centre to anyone considering enrolling their little one. It’s a wonderful environment for kids to learn and grow. We have never regretted moving from a much larger centre over to 3 steps!

My son loves coming here, I love the staff, they are so welcoming and caring. Love the way it has a warm home feeling and the activities are wonderful for the children and their development. I'd highly recommend 3 steps early learning such a beautiful centre with beautiful people.

My daughter has been with 3 Steps since she was 8 months old. I cannot begin to say how fantastic this centre is. I have never once had to worry about her being in someone else’s care and I leave her each day knowing that she is being nurtured and she is safe! Every single person that works there is just amazing, they have a fantastic menu and great plans and activities for the kids. Now when I pick her up every day she wants to stay longer and play!!! 3 Steps is more like a family than a day care centre. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone that’s looking for a place for their little one.

My daughter has been going there since she has been 4 months old. All the educators are absolutely beautiful and have been wonderful with my daughter. I would highly recommend 3 Steps Early Learning to any families looking for childcare in the area.

Such a professional centre, wouldn't trust anyone else with my little girl. All educators/supervisors and director are knowledgeable and lovely to deal with daily, always happy to help where needed and compromise to make the experience as easy as possible. Center is clean and equipped centre with all educational requirements for children learning.

My daughter gets excited for this childcare and when we are picking her up she doesn’t want to go home. This shows me that my daughter enjoys being at 3 Steps Early Learning. When I went looking for a childcare, I wanted one that was considered low child to staff ratio as this will show more quality of care to my daughter. Also all the staff absolutely love there jobs, so this showed me that I can trust them.

My son has only been attending 3 steps since 14th jan 2019, but they have gone above and beyond in absolutely every way possible. From the moment I walked in the doors to check the centre out it felt like a place I knew Tom would enjoy. It was warm and inviting. The staff were very helpful. They have always taken the time to listen and are very patient. Already I have seen an improvement in Tom. This centre is only small and that is why I fell in love. I have seen the big franchise centres and it’s not about the love of childcare. Mariam and her staff as very beautiful and caring and I couldn’t give them a high enough recommendation. 11/10 in my opinion!

Really nice and cosy centre, my child has really good interaction with the educators who are so friendly. My child has learnt so much in the last 6 months and I couldn't be happier.
Andrew, parent
Being a small centre it is the perfect place for a shy child. High quality, friendly educators that demonstrate an understanding of your child by planning learning experiences that are up to date with your child's interests.

Programs
Programs
Fitness Program: draws on the fun of movement and dance, the creativity of music, and the joy of active play. Each week the children enjoy a new and exciting interactive themed adventure and all classes are specially designed to encourage participation, expression and social interaction.
Multi-Sport Program: this educational, interactive and fun program encourages and motivates children to try new things and experience the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle. Coached by experts ranging from Exercise Physiologists, Human Movement Specialists, Personal trainers and Multi-sport Coaches.
Junior Soccer: children take part in a Soccer Fundamental Program, where they will begin to understand the rules of soccer and the benefits of teamwork. Trained coaches assist children to develop the physical and cognitive skills necessary to become a proficient player.
Excursions: the children go on visits outside of the centre that let them learn new skills and gain a greater understanding and awareness of the world around them. Some excursions include visits to the local library and supermarkets, nature exploration in the park, or nearby farm visits.
Incursions: the centre selects incursions that complement the curriculum and extend on children’s classroom learning and interests. For instance visits from the dentist or firefighters, and visits that support multicultural education.
About the curriculum
About the curriculum
Educators encourage each child to play, explore and learn in the diverse indoor and outdoor environments. Focusing on play-based learning, emergent curriculum, and a structured routine, the educators support and supervise children, nurturing literacy and numeracy skills, as well as social skills, imagination, high-level thinking, an interest in sustainability, and much more.
Explorers: Up to 2 years
The educators aim to provide care that is home-like and nurturing. The nursery room is a relaxed environment where children can play and interact with each other and their educator. With tailored routines to suit each individual child, children will encounter familiar experiences such as meal and play times, nappy changes and sleep whilst engaging in meaningful relationships with their educators. Children are encouraged to explore and develop their understanding of the world through their 5 senses. The room is safe and supports babies to feel confident in their identity and in achieving those very important milestones.
Investigators: 2 years - 3 years
Children in this age group are meeting new challenges and learn best in a stimulating environment. The centre’s qualified educators help facilitate learning and discovery through interest based activities which encourage investigation and exploration. Children begin to learn that they are capable of early, simple self-governance. Educators encourage a range of self-help skills like serving their own meals, dressing and undressing, and toileting. By playing and sharing with other children, the toddlers are developing social and emotional skills as well as supporting their cognitive and language skills by allowing them to explore, ask questions and use their imagination.
Navigators: 3 years - 5 years
In this room the children begin to explore the process of learning and refine their views of themselves and the world they live in. Children are encouraged to not only explore their natural environment, but to engage with using their imagination and creativity. Through their play, the qualified educators teach the children to develop a sense of their place in the world and help them develop the confidence, problem solving and negotiation skills necessary for them to begin school. The navigators are introduced to the concept of school routines and concepts which helps to ease the transition to Kindergarten. 3 Steps uses the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) as a guide in developing a play-based curriculum and learning experience for the children.

I love education, whether I’m learning or teaching. I have a teaching background in both Primary and Early Childhood Education and Care. What I enjoy most about my work is knowing I am making a difference. Early childhood is such an important time. Being granted the privilege of shaping young minds and caring for our future generation is priceless. My mission for our centres is to truly provide a home away from home for all children, a warm and welcoming space for them to learn and grow to their highest potential while having fun and knowing they truly belong.
More important than my educational background, I’m a mum. Through this, I have witnessed firsthand the importance of quality care and education in imparting knowledge, skills and confidence. I understand what it is I want to see in a childcare. Each day, I make sure that each child that attends 3 Steps is cared for in the way that I would want my children cared for. This involves providing them with love and affection, ensuring they are sustained daily with the highest quality nutritional meals, and providing access to stimulating learning resources.
