Namut Early Learning Centre is a setting in which you feel and know you belong. Your feelings and opinions will be valued; they want you to express yourself freely.
They will provide your children with a safe, stable and secure environment in which to learn and grow.
They want to see your child shine!
They aim to cater to your needs and support your family within the broader community of our service.
In order to care for your child to the best of our ability we need your support and participation. They value
all forms of contributions that families can make to the service and program.
Their program is an ever evolving and changing document, a living document that reflects current
teaching practices and your child’s interests and their current developing abilities and strengths.
The program is a mixture of fun and spontaneous experiences balanced with intentional teaching to
ensure that your child will be prepared for the transition to the school system.
This holistic approach to teaching and learning ensures our program is developmentally appropriate and
meets outcomes listed in the Early Years Learning Framework.

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
