This review is long overdue but if anything, the gratitude we feel towards SOCCS has tripled as the years pass. My daughter Natalie (currently 3 years old) started at this daycare when she was 10 months old. Born during the peak of COVID, she did not have much exposure to social environments but the educators were so welcoming and empathetic towards her that transition was surprisingly easy. Natalie enjoyed daycare and thrived so much that she went from initially attending 3 days a week to 5 days a week. Drop off was easy as she looked forward to seeing her favourite educators, and she would always come home with a big smile and happy mood. Although we have moved address, Natalie still goes to SOCCS for the very reason that the educators genuinely care about the children and in return, the children thrive emotionally/socially/mentally, as we have seen. My son Thomas (currently 1 years old) has just started at SOCCS. He has a medical condition which requires formula feeds to be done via his nasogastric tube (NGT). Most daycares reject children with this particular medical condition however SOCCS were reassuring and welcomed him with open arms. The director and educators showed great willingness to learn how to do his tube feeds and went the extra mile to do what they could to help ensure a smooth transition. With the warmth and care of the educators, Thomas has transitioned into daycare easily and happily. Not only does this daycare take great pride in caring for the children, they also take the time to look out for the parents and I can personally vouch for this, as the educators would often take the time to check in with me which I appreciate so much. SOCCS is definitely the place to enrol your children if you are looking for a daycare that genuinely cares, goes beyond their duties, and takes the time to get to know both the children and the parents.
