With a vision of providing only the best in education and care, we offer a high-quality educational program within our state of the art early learning centres.
Our passion lies with creating worlds safe to wonder, explore, grow and connect. We are committed to providing and evolving services to benefit the local communities in which we live, learn and play, employing local talent and management all the while drawing upon our extensive international experience. The local context of our people supports us in aligning our philosophy of providing the highest level of quality care and education for our families.
Operating under the National Quality Standard all services are benchmarked for quality and offer a rich curriculum founded on the approved learning models such as the Early Years Learning Framework and My Time Our Place. State specific guidelines are also used in Kindergarten and Preschool rooms for respective universal access programs which provides approaches for all children in the year prior to undertaking formal schooling.
About our Centre
Mudgeeraba is located on the edges of the glamorous Gold Coast and situated invitingly at the bottom of the beautiful hinterland. At Mudgeeraba Early Childhood Centre, our partnership with families starts before their first day. From your first contact with us we want to know your family and understand your needs to support a smooth transition based upon belonging and trust. We value the input of our families and our community in the curriculum and policy decisions of the centre.
We value that children are capable, unique individuals and therefore should be treated with respect, dignity and equity. We believe early childhood education is the foundation for lifelong learning and provide a safe, supportive environment which caters for children's holistic development. We embrace our differences including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
Our Team
Our Team of Educators at Mudgeeraba have made this their home, and with many of them being here over 10 years they become an extended part of the children’s lives that come through our centre.
We believe that quality interactions with educators and peers will facilitate experiences that empower children to develop strategies for active exploration, thinking and reasoning as they grow to become confident and competent learners. Our aim is to encourage children to promote a positive and proactive approach towards the environment and a sustainable future and we look forward to you joining the family at our Centre.
Kindergarten Program
Our centre offers both a government approved kindergarten program run by a teacher and long day care, all under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are university qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.
Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a Government payment to help eligible families who use approved and registered child care, such as all Global Sky Education centres. CCS payments help eligible families reduce their weekly payments and can also help make child care more affordable for families.

Mudgeeraba Early Childhood Centre sees the environment as the third educator, and understands that a quality environment responds to the many ways in which children learn, grow and develop.
The warm and inviting environment of the centre lets children and families know that they are welcome, with an aesthetically pleasing, ordered, peaceful space designed to support children’s play and stimulate dynamic teaching.
There is plenty of space for children to run, jump, be loud, enjoy hands-on experiences; as well as spaces of beauty, and quiet areas to unwind and rest.
Sustainability is at the heart of the centre, and research has shown that the earlier children are given opportunities to connect with nature, learn about the environment and their impact upon it, the more likely they will be environmentally responsible as adults. The centre is governed by a sustainability policy with embedded practices demonstrating their respect for nature.
About the curriculum
About the curriculum
Mudgeeraba Early Childhood Centre is focused on providing children the space to learn through play. Through active engagement in free play and structured activity, children employ a range of complex networks of abilities, interests and spoken languages. Engagement in diverse forms of play fosters the development of a spirit of curiosity, experimentation and discovery with children being supported to develop their thinking and understandings, fine and gross motor skills, language, personal and social awareness, emotional well-being and creativity.
The curriculum is underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework, which ranges from the routines of the day such as rest time and mealtimes through to the experiences and events all of which may be planned or spontaneous.
To develop an effective curriculum for children, the centre is involved in an ongoing cycle of observation, planning, documenting and reviewing of teachings and practice. All of their planning starts with observing children to understand and give consideration to their individual and group interests, development and learning preferences.

The educators believe that quality interactions with educators and peers will facilitate experiences that empower children to develop strategies for active exploration, thinking and reasoning as they grow to become confident and competent learners.
The centre’s aim is to encourage children to promote a positive and proactive approach towards the environment and a sustainable future. With a vision of providing only the best in education and care, the centre offers a high-quality educational program and educational environment, based on a policy of child-centred learning.
Educators are inspired to collaborate with families, colleagues, company, and community to create villages whose strength lies in unlocking the unlimited potential of each child.
Inclusion and diversity is something that the centre is proud of and celebrates. They enjoy experiencing and learning from their team and families' multinational origins. Working with families and community partners, the educators co-design strategies and approaches to remove barriers and enhance the experience for all children.
Having worked in the Early Childhood sector since 2003, I know just how important the early years are to a child’s development. Building upon my experience and using my qualifications in Education Support, Community Service and Leadership and Management; I am proud to be leading our wonderful team at Mudgeeraba.
We ensure that children’s education and care is our priority and families are respected and valued as co-educators in each child’s learning journey. I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially.
Come and see our warm and welcoming centre and meet the team!
