Ashfield Early Learning Centre
Ashfield Early Learning Centre overview
Ashfield Early Learning Centre provides enriching care and learning programs for children up to 6 years old. The skilled and committed team recognise that the first five years are the most critical period of a child’s life. Educators embrace each child’s uniqueness to help them develop a positive sense of self and community.
Centre spaces are warm and nurturing, to ensure children feel safe, secure and valued. Interiors are bright and homely, with colourful furniture, art on the walls, and a rich array of toys, books and games. In line with the play-based learning approach, children have free time to pursue their interests, building important cognitive, social and motor skills through play.
The centre has an inviting outdoor space with wide lawns, vegetable gardens, bike paths, sand pits and age-appropriate equipment including a mini trampoline and climbing frames. Educators present stimulating outdoor activities as part of the Get Moving program, designed to support physical and gross motor development.
The centre is situated in a residential street in Sydnehy’s Inner West, convenient to bus and train routes. Why not book a tour of this welcoming and homely centre today?

We love the educators for their genuine care and appreciate the ongoing updates and how much they notice about our children. Our first child started in the baby room 3 years ago and our second child also started attending AELC recently. All the educators that looked after our first child are still with AELC and most are now caring for our second child. The low staff turnover is a testament to the positive internal culture of AELC and a great source of comfort for us as parents to have such continuity of care. We also appreciate that the centre is not too large (the educators and kids all know each other) and that it is located next to a park in an airy, light filled building. Read more
