My 2.5 year old attends Ocean St and we can’t fault the centre and service - it’s wonderful! We’ve even moved out the area but still travel into Bondi everyday to keep my son there because it’s such a special place. He’s been attending for a year a half now. First and foremost, all the staff are extremely loving, caring and nurturing with the children. My son adores his educators and I always feel comfortable dropping him off. He loves the outdoor area and the different activities, from painting to sports to music and dancing. The centre isn’t as modern as some of the others we considered, but it’s a homely environment with a huge outdoor space and so much room for the kids to run around. It’s a converted church building with an elevated stage - perfect for the Christmas concert :-) We receive regular updates including photos and anecdotes, and the staff are very friendly and communicative with the parents. We are always welcomed to provide feedback on the curriculum and to play an active role if we wish. The food is provided by a third party caterer and the menu is healthy and varied (my son eats a lot more veggies at daycare than I can persuade him to eat at home!). Finally, the daily rate is very reasonable, especially considering the long hours the centre is open for. I will also be sending my second bub to Ocean St (to the seperate baby room) when I return to work from maternity leave. I hope she loves it as much as my son! Read more
