The Lurra Communtiy Childcare Centre has proved our child and our family with a connected, compassionate and engaging environment that has supported our little one to feel safe and enjoy his experience in care. Every single carer is warm and welcoming, building a genuine connection both with our child and with us making each stage of his time in care (from nursery right through to kindy) and enjoyable one. They provide excellent, thoughtful and engaging learning environments and experiences. The centre is beautiful with daily activities thoughtfully put together and with a natural outdoor environment that encourages creative play. The leadership are welcoming and always go out of their way to be accommodating to parents. We are so grateful to have Lurra be our childcare experience!! Read more

Most of the staff have worked there for decades, and have a wealth of experience to share. We loved that in the months in the lead up to our baby starting there, we were invited to visit every week, for at least half an hour, so that we felt comfortable with the staff, the staff could learn about our child and so our child (and us) could bond with the team. Everyone I know that has had their children there, has recommended Lurra to us!, and we are so happy that they did! Read more
