Jade owns Choklits, has a Bachelor of Business Human Resource Management, a Masters of Accounting and a Diploma of Children’s Services. Jade has two young children and is passionate about learning and strongly believes that all children have the right to be safe, loved and should all be set up for the best chance at success in life.
I began my career in the corporate world working for organisations including Ernst and Young and in senior management for the NAB. In 2016, I purchased Choklits in Ringwood along with my husband, Matt. Children and teaching are my passion so Choklits quickly became my second family and growing the Choklits Community is now one of my favourite things in the world!
Choklits has grown from a small centre we purchased all those years ago to the community it is today. I’m so proud of our team of dedicated educators who pour their heart and soul into our children. It makes me so happy I get to do this work everyday.
When I’m not at Choklits I’m usually thinking about Choklits! I also enjoy spending time with my family, especially traveling and holidaying with them. My twin children certainly keep me on my toes whenever I’m away from Choklits!!

Morning
Hudson is eight months old and loves his days at Choklits Croydon. His favourite educator puts Hudson in the pram with two other babies to go for a walk around the neighbourhood. They wave at the shopkeepers and point out all the interesting things they can see.
Lunch
Hudson is ready to settle down for a nap after having a healthy lunch. The educators prepare his bottle, read him a story, and get him all tucked in for a rest.
Afternoon
The nursery children are outside to play in the afternoon. Hudson is in the sandpit, digging, building and enjoying the sensory experience of sand play. Educators are close by to offer a hand if it’s needed.
Morning
Lily is 23 months old and arrives ready for action. The toddlers have their art easels set up today, and are having a great time painting their families. Don’t forget to add your pet dog, Lily!
Lunch
The outdoor area is popular with the toddlers, and Lily has made a run for the cubby house and slide with her friend Josh. They like to play together and take turns going down the slide.
Afternoon
Now Lily joins the children on the bike track, who are riding the bikes and scooters. Lily chooses a pink scooter and whizzes around the track with the others.
Morning
Isaac is three and a half and is excited about today’s music lesson. He grabs a triangle and the educator shows the children how to create patterns with music. Next he tries a tambourine out, and loves the sound it makes when he gives it a shake.
Lunch
Isaac is chosen by the chef to help pick some basil from the herb garden so that the chef can use it in her pesto for lunch. The children sit together and share their meal as a group. Isaac is proud that he was able to help with the pesto. The spaghetti tastes even better today, he thinks!
Afternoon
The children love their dance lessons with their educator. For Isaac, it’s a chance to shake, bop and twist around to the fun music. He gets to choose one of the songs and does some funny dance moves that make the other children giggle.
