At Integricare Early Learning Centre Turrella offers an extended hours service incorporating an excellent Preschool with a transition to school program.

Our team of passionate and qualified educators provide nurturing care and learning for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Children learn through play, with stimulating programs developed in line with the Early Years Learning Framework, and with the centre’s Christian-based values of compassion, respect and trust.

The centre offers a range of spaces for sensory learning. Interiors are cosy and inviting, with colourful furniture and comfortable nooks for reading and play. The large range of resources includes books and toys catering to all interests and learning styles. Educators also deliver a fun and engaging program including literacy, art, music and science. 

In the beautiful and leafy outdoor space, children are encouraged to explore the sandpits, climbing structures, cubby house and play equipment, whilst also taking part in sport and physical activity programs that help hone important motor and physical skills. The children have a wonderful opportunity to learn about nature and sustainability by helping educators tend to the many vegetable gardens.

Programs

Integricare Early Learning Centre Turrella tailors its learning programs to meet the individual needs of children. The centre honours diversity and incorporates the use of first languages, cultural traditions and practices into centre programs.

Early learning

Following the Early Years Learning Framework, the centre provides play-based learning activities that are developmentally appropriate for each age. The programs build on children’s home and community literacy experiences by including literacy practices that are relevant to children’s everyday lives, as well as familiar texts from their homes and communities.

Preschool

The stimulating preschool program focuses on building and extending children’s language, literacy and numeracy skills. Educators liaise with parents to ensure programs meet children’s developmental needs, and encourage creativity, individuality and independence.

Munch & Move

The centre follows the NSW Health Munch & Move program, delivering activities that support and encourage healthy eating and physical activity.

Online learning

The centre’s website provides extensive resources for parents and families. These include suggested play and learning activities and information on health and wellbeing, child development and Christian learning.
