My child transferred to this kindergarten the year before they went to prep, which became the biggest regret of our lives. Our child now has social anxiety which we believe was the result of bullying and mistreatment. When we would drop off or collect our child, we could sense that the teacher was quickly covering up or altering what was happening, we were often ignored and spoken to rudely.We walked in on occasions where our son was being bullied by a group of other children, which the teacher was allowing this to continue. When questioned why she let this continue, we were told that the teachers don't get involved in the children's arguments or altercations and let the children work it out themselves. The children are 5 years old. My child went from being a very outgoing child to a recluse and now we are dealing with the consequences. I can't recall the name of the teacher, but she was in her late 20"s and a larger woman with Blonde hair. I really hope that the centre knows who I am speaking about, and keep an eye on her. She made it so uncomfortable every day she worked when we dropped off or picked up our child. Every day we live with regret that we didn't see the signs earlier.
